One of India's largest states, Telangana is situated in the heart of the Indian subcontinent. Telangana State is bordered by the states of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh to the north; Andhra Pradesh to the south and east; and Karnataka to the west. Telangana has borders with four other states.
